Workshop: IMI and Interreg Grants for Collaborative innovation

Dear professional network member, we (Flanders Smart hub) kindly invite you, a (potential) stakeholder in the field of regenerative medicine, to actively participate in the next innovation workshop organised by & for the Open RegMed Community on Friday, November 25th in Leuven (11:00-17:00).

Our last workshop before the summer aimed to help you identify and assess the feasibility of grant and collaboration opportunities for your organisation, in an EU-wide grant landscape.

This time, we will focus on 4 specific cross-border grant opportunities that can support collaboration, innovation, demonstration and research valorisation in the regenerative medicine field:

The Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI2, Call 10, Topic: Biomanufacturing 2020)
Interreg Vlaanderen-Nederland (Priority: Innovation)
Crossroads2 and Link2Innovate (Joint, cross-border SME Feasibility and Innovation projects)

During an interactive ‘innovation lab’, you can follow grant-specific brainstorm exercises on how to build a collaborative grant project by matching the call topic demands with the complementary strengths, needs and goals of the partner organisations. You can put your own conceptual or concrete project draft on the table to turn it into a call-specific proposal supported by a cross-border consortium.

Define concrete cross-border collaboration opportunities for your organisation and connect to potential innovation partners across the value chain in Europe
Learn how to turn your project ideas into suitable content for a grant application, and how to find and pitch a role for your organisation in a collaborative grant project
Help develop new approaches for the Open RegMed Community to stimulate innovation, co-creation and valorisation of Regenerative Medicine research outputs
